Dr. Gian Pagnucci

Technology Project Presentation Requirements

At the end of the semester each student will be required to give a short in-class presentation about their Technology Project. This is your chance to show off all your hard work. The presentation should cover the information noted below.

Presentation Requirements

General Requirements

  • Professional scholarly style
  • 5-10 minutes in length (do NOT run long since this cuts into your classmate’s time)
  • Collaborative projects may use double the time if necessary, though shorter presentations are generally better
  • As you present, plan to show your audience your project using the computer projection system
  • There is no need to read or show every part of your project; instead, focus on the highlights

Topics the Presentation Should Cover

  • Technology Project Title
  • Technology Project Overview
  • Target Audience
  • Technology Project Highlights
  • Technology Project Design Features
  • Any Areas of Concern (if applicable)
  • Technology Project’s Potential for Future Work
  • A Final Reflection on the Technology Project

Presentation Handout Requirements

Please prepare a handout to give out before your presentation. Please make enough copies of the handout for the entire class, including the instructor (about 15). Your handout should include the following information:

  • Technology Project Title
  • Your Name
  • Your Email Address
  • Date
  • Technology Project Web Address (or other information on accessing the project)
  • Technology Project Overview–Brief description of the project
  • Technology Project Audience–Who did you envision as the users of the project?
  • List Key Features of the Technology Project
  • 3 Primary References–List 3 sources you used as you wrote about your Technology Project
